Chemical kinetics and dynamics in the gas phase, experimental studies and statistical rate theory of elementary chemical processes, method development and application to problems in atmospheric and combustion chemistry.

In our group, we study such reactions experimentally, using laser photolysis cells, flow reactors, and shock tubes. For data analysis and interpretation, we employ quantum-chemical methods, statistical rate theory, and complex kinetic modeling.
